Established in 1990 Hegarty Demolition swiftly positioned itself as an accomplished and trustworthy player in the demolition industry. Initially led by Sean Hegarty and Liam Hogan, the company is now headed up by Paul Hogan, along with an experienced board of directors, chaired by Jim Duffy. As the company grew, and projects became more challenging, HDL developed the requisite skills to carry out the most complex and demanding of operations and we now consider ourselves to be the premier demolition company in Ireland as attested by the portfolio of contracts successfully undertaken by us. Due to our high staff retention rates, HDL employs some of the most experienced professionals in the demolition industry, enabling us to meet clients’ requirements successfully, on budget and on time. Further confirmation of our standing in the industry is the amount of repeat business we win from a broad base of both clients and main contractors. Hegarty Demolition’s commitment to the elimination of all accidents on site is demonstrated through its continual investment in staff training and best practice procedures in relation to site safety auditing.
We have invested heavily in all types of both external and in-house task specific training for all our employees; from management training through the CIF run Managing Safely in Construction Course, to Safe Pass and CSCS Training for all our operatives, (Plant Operator Training and Safety Awareness).
Hegarty Demolition has received OHSAS 18001 accreditation. OHSAS 18001 is the internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems and we are recipients of a safety award from NISO/NISG.

Hegarty Demolition Ltd is committed to protecting and enhancing the environments in which we work. This intent is supported by our ISO 14001:2015 accredited Environmental Management System. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and we actively encourage our suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to do the same.
We priorities responsible waste management on all our projects. A comprehensive site waste management plan ensures our approach on each project is thought out , saving time and resources throughout the demolition process. We regularly achieve in excess of 97% recycling rates on our projects. We maintain meticulous records of all by-product, recycled material and waste removed from the site ensuring full traceability for ourselves and our Clients.
