Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones have provided a powerful additional resource to enable HDL to accurately survey hard to access areas and potentially dangerous sites.
Drone technology advancements allow for the expedient surveying of sites, and this work will take a fraction of the time compared to traditional measurement systems and also will be more accurate.
AutoCAD is a 2-D and 3-D computer aided drafting software and can be used for a multitude of purposes with engineering and demolition works being one, enabling the user to develop digital drawings of the structure which can then be easily modified.
Cut and Carve
With an ever-evolving economy, the uses of many structures are continually changing. Oftentimes, clients will look to carry out alteration works to existing buildings rather than engage in a new build. Demolition in these situations is challenging and can involve the removal of many internal partitions, structural components, and floors.
As a result of the removal of load bearing structures, new designs are required, generally in a more discrete way than what is being demolished.
